Michalis Chatzikonstantinou

Dr Michalis Chatzikonstantinou teaches in the MSc programmes "Media and Refugee / Migration Flows" and "Politics in the Era of the Internet" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.  He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the same institution. He holds a PhD in Media and Communication with a focus on the European management of refugee flows in 2015. His research interests include news framing, journalism in the digital age and fact-checking. He has worked as a professional journalist for more than two decades. He has been the recipient of the 2019 Botsis Foundation journalism award for parliamentary reporting.
