I was working as a reporter for the main news bulletin and for the weekend morning programme. I was producing stories, presenting the news at the studio and doing lives on the field.

During these nine months, my mission was to record and write stories of refugees and migrants. Alongside my UNCHR’s superiors, i traveled to Crete, Lesvos and Chios where we met beneficiaries of reception and hospitality programs, such as ESTIA. I spent time with them, did interviews and then wrote the stories which were published in Greek and English on the UNHCR website. We also made stories in Athens, mainly with asylum seekers who participated in relocation programs in which the International Organization for Migration had the main responsibility.
