Public Relations & Perception Management of the Refugee / Migration Policy

The content of this course consists of two parts, one theoretical and one technical:
The course will address issues of public relations, two-way communication process and development of relationships between the organizations and communities (refugees/ migrants). In addition, ways of communicating the problems and barriers regarding the inclusion or refoulement where it is necessary and the ways and techniques of approaching such subjects will be analyzed within the course. Communication strategies regarding the management of refugee /migrant matter will be presented and students will be trained in developing communication strategies with the use of old and new media. Communication tools, approaches to the particular field of study, in European and international level, crisis communication management and public and international relations will be approached with specific lectures.
