International, European and National Law on Refugees / Migration Flows

The course will present issues related to the rights of refugees and migrants, the international protection regime as well as the current legislative context of asylum and migration in Europe. A comprehensive analysis will be made regarding the basic legally binding texts on the human rights, the Geneva Convention, the European policies, transnational and national management agreements. In addition, it will be examined the policy making of international organizations as well as special issues such as Trafficking in Human Beings, citizenship challenges, refugees’ and migrants cases in front of the court, and integration frameworks in Europe.
